Biography

Sun Hengyun, Associate Chief Physician, MD, graduated from the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. From 2018 to 2019, supported by the China Scholarship Council and the Plastic Surgery Hospital's Excellent Young Talents Program, he was a visiting scholar for one year in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, USA. His technical specialties include oculoplastic and aesthetic surgery, auricular deformity correction and reconstruction, liposuction and fat grafting, and injectable minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. He has published more than 10 academic papers in domestic and international journals, presented at multiple international and domestic conferences, received funding for 4 research projects, and contributed to 3 monographs. He has received the Francoise Firmin Award from the International Society for Auricular Reconstruction (ISAR). He served as Executive Secretary-General of the Second International Congress on Auricular Reconstruction in 2017. He is currently a member of the Committee on Medical Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery Safety of the China Occupational Safety and Health Association, a member of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and a member of the International Society for Auricular Reconstruction.
